Step 1: Preparation
Gather required materials: bare fiber adapter, cleaning paper, industrial alcohol, optical fiber scribe, and optical fiber stripper.
Step 2: Fiber Preparation
Strip 15-20mm of fiber coating from the cable.
Step 3: Cleaning
Clean the fiber using industrial alcohol.
Step 4: Installation
Press the fiber adapter switch (square adapter: press plywood; round adapter: press round button). Slowly push the fiber through the inlet hole until it extends 4-6mm beyond the fiber-optic ferrule, then release the fiber switch to secure the connection.
Step 5: Finishing
Use an optical fiber cross pen to cut the exposed fiber end at the ceramic tip. After breaking the fiber end, the fiber can be pulled out for repeated use.
