OLSP851XL-C(I)DS3 Enhanced Small Form Factor Pluggable SFP+ transceivers are designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet over MultiMode fiber. These transceivers are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR/SW standards, optimized for high performance and cost-effective solutions in telecommunications and datacom applications.

Digital Diagnostic Monitoring

The OLSP851XL-C(I)DS3 transceiver supports the 2-wire serial communication protocol as defined in the SFP+ MSA. It provides access to identification information describing the transceiver's capabilities, standard interfaces, manufacturer details, and real-time monitoring of operating parameters including temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power, and supply voltage. The system includes alarm and warning flags for parameters outside factory-set normal ranges.
