Bare Fiber 250μm Steel Tube 1x2 PLC Fiber Splitter with Connector
Planar lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter is an optical power management device fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology to distribute optical signals from Central Office (CO) to multiple premise locations. This bare fiber splitter is designed for PON networks and can be installed in pigtail cassettes, test instruments, and WDM systems, minimizing space occupation.
PLC splitters utilize semiconductor technology and consist of one optical PLC chip coupled with optical arrays at both ends. The device uses silica glass as the material for lightwave circuits and features substrate, waveguide, and lid layers. Available in various configurations including bare, blockless, ABS, LGX box, mini plug-in, tray type, and 1U rack mount models.
