MPO breakout fibers singlemode/multimode fiber optic patch cords designed for high-density fiber optic applications. These cables feature MPO to LC breakout configurations with bending insensitive technology for reliable performance in demanding environments.

Application & Maintenance

The maintenance method applies to mapping optical fibers between MPO and LC interfaces. Breakout boxes offer more flexible fiber layout compared to direct MPO-LC fibers, with no restrictions on installation direction - they can be installed positively or negatively as needed.

LC interfaces support automatic dust-proof covers, while MPO interfaces include dustproof plugs for enhanced protection.

Important Usage Note

When using breakout optical fiber, insert the X1 end into a 40GE QSFP+ optical module and the X2 end into four 10GE interfaces. If the 40GE interface is Down but the four 10GE interfaces are Up:

Verify the 40GE interface supports breakout functionality
Check if the 40GE interface is configured in breakout state
Replace with compatible interface if necessary
