The NEW LIGHT OPTICS OM4 Fiber Cable is designed for high-speed fiber optic networking applications in buildings, data centers, and telecommunications infrastructure. This multimode cable is ideal for vertical pathways, shafts, and inter-floor spaces. The LC fiber jumper delivers reliable performance in demanding, high-density cable environments, making it suitable for schools, healthcare facilities, and government buildings.

Plenum MTP®/MPO Fiber Optic Cables

These high-speed multimode 50/125μm OM4 Polarity Type fiber cables feature MTP® fiber optic connectors on both ends (MTP-MTP). The MTP® ("Multifiber Termination Push-on") connector, developed by USConec, accommodates up to twelve optical fibers within a single ferrule.

Each MTP® cable contains 12 fiber channels in a connector smaller than most duplex connections available today. MTP fiber cables represent a high-performance version of MPO-style cables and are fully compatible with MPO connectors.

Polarity Selection Guide

Type A - Straight: Straight-through polarity for connecting patch panels. Wired in mirrored configuration from Pin 1 to Pin 1, etc.

Type B - Rollover: Primarily for connecting to switches and transceivers in 40Gb applications. Wired from Pin 1 to Pin 12, then 2 to 11, and so forth.

Type C - Flipped: Pair-Flipped polarity, most commonly used for cassette-to-cassette applications. Pin 1 to Pin 2, 2 to 1, 3 to 4, 4 to 3, etc. This is the default polarity option.
